Promoting physical wellbeing for medical staff by minimizing manual handling.
The Problem
Musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) are a major occupational hazard for nurses, often caused by manual handling tasks performed without proper assistive tools. This leads to frequent overexertion and repetitive strain, resulting in high rate of low back pain, increased absenteeism, reduced productivity, higher healthcare costs, and inefficient resource use in hospitals.
Our Solution
The Dead Body Lifter, created by MBC Landbrug, is a custom-built, remote-controlled hydraulic system made from easy-to-clean, corrosion-resistant materials. It is designed to effortlessly lift deceased bodies in morgues, thereby reducing the physical strain on nurses and hospital staff. By minimizing manual handling, this innovative tool helps prevent MSDs, lowers absenteeism, boosts productivity, cuts healthcare costs, and optimizes resource use in hospitals
